Level 2 Game Design
Entry requirement for progression onto a Level 1/2 course is a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade G or better. In addition, students must achieve the specific entry requirements for each individual course which may apply to this course.

Typical Syllabus outline
This course is suitable for people who have an interest in media and computer games design. Students are introduced to a range of techniques relating to video production, animation and computer game design.
The course provides an introduction to the media and computer game industries and offers an opportunity for students to progress onto further study acting as an ideal introduction to the Level 3 Media, Animation and Games.
What will I study?
A range of essential skills including video production, computer game design, animation and research techniques
Gain a basic understanding of the creative media sector
English and maths if require

All learners who have taken this qualification will be able to progress into the following qualifications:
You can move on to the Media Animation and Games Level 3 course or you might prefer to change speciality by doing the Graphic Design Level 3 or Information Technology Level 3.
